Hunter’s Sight

Intended to explore motion and halftones, this comic was created digitally and heavily influenced by lino-cuts and manga. It was inspired by a glimpse I caught of a hawk diving to catch a mouse while out driving. I wanted to leave the ending ambiguous, reflecting both how I never saw the result of the hawk’s hunt, and how torn I was on wanting the mouse to escape with its life while also wanting the hawk to be able to eat and survive too.
